s60 - lights dont flash when locking car

Hi i have an 02 S60. For some reason, when i lock the doors on the car with the keyfob, the indicators do not flash, yet they used to. When i unlock the car they still flash twice. Normally upon locking the car they flash once. Does anyone have any ideas whats wrong? thanks in advance!

as per ya other post - the resolution is the same! Open ya bonnet and let it drop from a good foot. It should be fine then. Stop being gentle with it! The switch is a little pedantic at times. Do a search it's been brought up a few times before ... and now twice in the same day by the same person!! Vipes

LOL Funny enough, I had the bonnet up today... i fitted some headlamp protectors... i'll go and try it now! Thanks!

yep it worked!!! Can you imagine going to volvo and saying the lights dont flash when you lock the car... and stay say.. open up the bonnet mate... as they lift it, they let it drop..... you'd be well p!$$ed off if they charged you an hours labour for that! Cheers mate! Spot on!
