Hell. Yes.

The work is inspiring. It's going to absolutely lead others, like myself, to be encouraged to explore this space. Thank you for not only sharing but for continuing to invite others along with you.

Favorite part: "Imagine a sanctuary where individuals can step away from the mechanized routines of their lives, to reflect, play, discuss, and explore their curiosities in the company of earnest and kind community. A space that recognizes our shared essence, the interconnected threads that bind us all, manifesting in myriad expressions of the universe. And where that expression is not just tolerated, but passionately celebrated."

I’d love to hear/read more about how spaces like yours try to embrace folks who generally have trouble finding a sense of belonging in groups -- whether or not your specific third space offers them a way in. I’m referring to people who often feel like misfits amongst misfits... or too weird to hang with the normies but too normal to hang with the weirdos. Do you have specific ambassadors within the group to bridge that gap and act as the connector piece? Do you survey folks who’ve given your space a try but decide it’s not for them? If so, do you make the call that it’s fine if it’s not for them, or do you adjust to make your space even more inclusive?

Beautifully said! I realise on reading this that third spaces are what I’ve been seeking out in my burnout recovery: a place to weave meaning with others, rather than staying put in solitary spiritual career. Thank you for sharing this, it’s got me excited.
