Hi all, I have a phase 1 v40 with the new screen spray heads and they worked fine for a couple of days, but now I find that the first blast of wash is ok but then it just starts to dribble out, not a constant pressure, I can still hear the pump wizzing! What do you reckon it could be?

There is a non return valve / T piece under the engine soundproofing where the pipe splits to each nozzle these had the tendancy to leak leading to the problem you describe. The part number is somewhere on the forum.

Yeah - it probably is the NRV's but they're choked up with screen wash residue - bin 'em and buy new ones.

replaced the non return valve but it's still the same, first squirt reaches window but then pressure drops and wash dribbles out of the nozzles, its as if the pump hasnt the power any more, what do you reckon?

OK so the gunge is in the reservoir - need to access it, pull the pump off and clean tank and filter. The reservoir is in the inner wing so presumably accessed behind wheel arch liner.
